Since I’m breastfeeding Max, the Pediatrician recommends I load up on steak, cheesecake, fatty, high calorie foods. Which is great! I love me a good fatty steak. He even suggested drinking Ensure. Excuse me? I’m breastfeeding, not using a walker!
And my Ob/Gyn Doc is telling me NOT to exercise or lift anything heavier than Max for a solid 6 weeks. Umm… does this sound like a good combination to you? I sure hope it’s true that breastfeeding burns more calories than does being pregnant. If not, I’ll be gaining more weight in the next few weeks than I did the whole 40 weeks of pregnancy. But don’t worry, I will NOT take weekly pictures of my progressing breastfeeding belly.
