I’m going to… do a blog post!

Both babies are asleep! At the same time! This doesn’t happen often since Sarah isn’t on a sleep schedule yet. She still just sort of dozes in and out all day.

I have to wake Max up soon, so I only have a whole 30 minutes! What to do with 30 whole minutes? Well, I decided to post here to you!

Just wanted to share a funny ad I saw the other day. Swiffer has a new campaign and I think it’s really good. So true. When you are a busy mom, it always feels so amazing to have just a few precious minutes to yourself. A really simple idea, executed well.

Baby Talk

This is Sarah a few weeks ago when she was a little over one month old.  She does a lot of “talking” and smiling and laughing, but as soon as I get the camera out she stops!  Just like Max used to do!

I’ll keep getting the camera out so she gets used to it. And one of these days I’ll capture one of our little “chats”. For now, here’s just a little snippet.

Smiley Stella

“I’ve pulled 14 teeth and I’m not done yet.  I still have the other side to do.”  Can you imagine your dentist saying this to you as he’s working on your mouth?

Stella just had 15 teeth pulled from her head!  She still has 16 teeth left.  Whew!

Poor girl just has bad teeth.  I’ve been taking her in to a doggie dentist every 6 weeks for a cleaning.  And I put some sort of concoction in her water that is supposed to help fight tartar.  Alas, at the end of the day she still just has bad teeth.  “Genetics”, the Vet says.

She had the surgery Monday and bounced right back.  By the time I picked her up in the afternoon she acted as if nothing happened.  Trooper!

Now that all her rotten teeth are gone, we are hoping for some fresh breath!  We’ve been calling her Stinky Stella for awhile now.  I’m hoping that’s a name that just doesn’t fit her anymore.

007

Remember I told you that we all went on an audition together?  Well, we went on two auditions together and we booked one!  Joe, Max and I all booked on the same commercial together!  Isn’t that fun?

We shot our scenes this week.  All at the same location, but I’m in a different spot than Joe and Max.

Max did awesome!  He was so cute and had so much fun.  He loves an adventure!  Hopefully we all make the cut and the commercials air for a long, long time.

I’ll tell you all about it once it airs.  But until then, it’s top secret.  Seriously.  It seems every production company these days wants you to sign a non-disclosure agreement.  And on this commercial, we didn’t even know what the product was until we got to set!

I guess I could tell you, but then I’d have to kill you.
