This is a very small, insignificant issue. But it’s one of those things that make you go “What the…” How much cotton does one need to stuff inside a pill bottle? I mean really. It took up roughly half of the container. Is that much cotton really necessary? I just can’t believe that it is. Save on some plastic and cotton. Use a smaller container and less cotton. Sheesh!
My grandma — Max’s great grandma — the one I talk about here, had three fancy bibs made and sent to us here in CA from MN. Now Max can eat in style. I mean, dinner IS always a black tie blue tie event around here. Isn’t it at your house?
Yesterday I was out running errands. I parked in a lot and took a minute to snack on an orange before going into the store. The woman who was parked next to me exited the store and as she was getting in to her car, slammed her car door into my car. Really? She noticed I was in the car, smiled and brushed her hand on my car to dust away her ding. Really? I got out to look since she was still hanging around and said “there’s plenty of room here” (between my car and hers). She laughed and said “I know”.
Then, the next car pulled in after she exited and THIS guy also got out of his car, and just let his door swing wide open, crashing in to my side mirror.
Really, dude?
He noticed I was in the car, laughed, waved and used his sleeve to wipe off any mark or ding. Really? What is with people? Is that the new thing now? Just get out of the car and swing your door open wide and hard without looking? Interesting.
This is where Max unwraps his Walker. I’d like to say he looks so excited because he knows what it is, or because it’s such a big gift. But really he’s probably thinking about ALL THAT WRAPPING PAPER! And how he will crunch it, play with it and (try to) eat it!
And yup, this is the giver of this gift. She watches over Max when we are away. And sometimes when we are home too – so we can actually get something done! Or at least use both hands at once.
