I like hanging my clothes outside to dry. I don’t know why, I just do. It may be because it’s “old school” or “eco-friendly” or as someone said to me, “European”. But something about the fresh air and sunshine drying my clothes – just – makes me feel good.
And when you have two little chihuahuas and two little ones in diapers – you get to hang things like this on the line to dry. I just love it.
Joe took photos of me with the kids on Mother’s Day. I didn’t get the chance to return the favor as he was busy running errands in the afternoon on Father’s Day. Phone issues. You know, the fun stuff, right?
But luckily – recently – I had grabbed some photos of him with the kids!
Plus – I DID get to send him off for a full 1 hour massage in the morning! He’d never had a full professional massage. Can you believe that? He lives in LA. He’s an actor. And NEVER had the full 1 hour massage? So I just HAD to get that for him. I sent him to a reflexology/body massage place I like. Then when he returned I had a fun Mexican-lunch waiting for him and… his gifts! One of which I thought was cool – since he was in the military – a grenade shaped bluetooth speaker. Ha ha.
Anyhoo — after he ran his errands and returned home – the 4 of us ran out for a few minutes of fun and for dinner I ordered in his favorite – pizza delivery! Plus of course, we hung out with the kids. Father’s Day with a 2 and 1 year old. There you have it.
Happy Father’s Day to my late Grandpa Clarke – it’s the first one without him. xo
And Happy Father’s Day to all the great Dad’s out there. Mine included. Love you, Dad. xo
You can never have enough of the good stuff. And sometimes the good stuff is laughter. And a baby laughing is even that much more better. Did that last sentence make sense? I don’t know. But you get what I mean. Max’s laughter to the “yes, no, yes, no, yes” has over 24,000 views and counting.
It’s just too cute to not re-share with you. Who doesn’t need a good laugh, smile or a little happiness?
Oh yeah – and now that he’s 2 years old – as he would say about this video: “Awesome!”

I showed you the picture of Max teaching Sarah the alphabet. Well, afterwards, they took a break and got their groove on with the piano. Max keeps calling out sayings like he’s giving a concert. About half way through this video Max says what sounds like “One more time!” Where did he get that? Sesame Street? I don’t know, but I can hardly contain myself – I love being surrounded by so much cuteness everyday! Grateful.
