I’m being challenged.  You know I’ve mentioned before about how amazed I am that I’ve been able to keep an orchid, a gift from a friend, alive for so long.  Well now I have THREE of them!  Did word get out or something?  Is it now known around town that I can keep an orchid alive?  Yikes.  Now I’m being tested – ha!

My mom brought me this one while I was in the hospital, the day after I gave birth to Sarah.  I’d never seen one like this before.  It’s more like a full plant with A LOT of flowers about ready to bloom rather than just one long stem with a few flowers.

And then when I got home, my neighbor brought this one over for me.  It’s TALL.  Almost three feet tall with 8 LARGE flowers.

Well, I’m up for the challenge.  I think I need to round up some more little fairies to help.
